Barnet police station – update

After an exchange of emails with the Borough Commander I can reveal that it looks very unlikely that the hours of opening for Barnet Police station will change. A review is taking place but only into the use of the police station as a patrol base which would not mean that it would be open any longer than it is now.

Further confusion was sown when the minutes of the meeting I attended where published as they seem to indicate that there was a review into opening hours. The police have confirmed that this is not what was meant. Apart from anything else I would have thought that the police would have checked a public document rather more carefully to ensure that it did not have the potential to mislead.
